Course Synopsis:

The best reconstructive, aesthetic and soft tissue augmentation strategies involve using the patient's own tissue rather than implants. Implants have their own set of long-term problems while one's own tissue doesn’t have. As such treatment using the patient’s own stem cells which is “natural implant” could keep its shape and size for years, perhaps for life.

Stem cells are merely immature cells that scientists can manipulate to become full cells of many types, so that they can be used to treat many diseases. Inexorably, stem cell biology is finding its way into a broad range of medical disciplines, including aesthetic surgery.

Body shaping, treatment of wrinkles and facial rejuvenation can now be achieved with highly improved success rates with autologous fat grafts. This method is known as the safest and simplest treatment with a stable long term result in aesthetical surgery and medicine.

More recently a completely adjuvent new treatment with Platelet Rich Plasma permits an improved result of fat grafts. The centrifugated blood taken from the patient is used as a booster by addition to the fat grafts or through mesotherapy method.

This innovative treatment of wrinkles, imperfections and ageing by fat grafts and Platelet Rich Plasma will be presented through an interactive course to the participants in a scientific program including theory, live-demonstration and hands-on workshops.
